Our Craft Masters

Dogs have been a lifelong passion for Sarah Bebee. Raised in a dog show family, she learned to groom to the breed standard before she ever opened a salon, and she still does. Melissa Herold learned the work beside her, helping prepare dogs for the show ring.

Founder

Sarah Bebee

“Dogs have been a lifelong passion for Sarah. Raised in a dog show family, she began grooming her own show dogs at an early age before training alongside several of the nation’s top handlers. After a successful career showing both her own and client dogs, she launched her professional grooming career at 18. Having worked in both private and corporate settings, Sarah fulfilled a long-held dream by founding Shear Bliss Pet Salon to deliver the exceptional, personalized care her clients deserve.”

Co-founder and groomer

Melissa Herold

“Melissa’s love for animals began with her family pets and grew as she assisted Sarah in preparing dogs for the show ring. After a year of hands-on training under Sarah, she refined her technique working at local shops before joining forces with Sarah to build their salon vision. Melissa is devoted to gentle, high-quality care…”

How a show family became a salon

Breed standards are the language of the show ring. Every Shear Bliss groom is cut with that language in mind, whether the dog is a Yorkie, a poodle or a doodle.
